Great room. Great view. Great service. Great pool. Beautiful. Quiet, comfortable. Ok beach for the area. Recomend upper floor ocean view. Food not so good and overpriced. Short walk to Marina, good food and good prices. There is a deli right across the street where you can purchase a cooler, some pop, beer and munchies for good prices. You can buy your coffee there and brew it in your room and save a load of $. As for the towels, I only used the ones from the hotel when I was at the hotel. I brought my own towel for off premisses uses. If you don't want to bring your own towel from home, make a quick stop at the local Wal-mart buy a towel, your other food and drink needs, use it and then leave it for the maid when you leave. Yes I would recomend this hotel. The only small draw back is that it is quite away from old down town where I spent a great deal of time so it got kind of old having to take the taxi all the time if you want to go any distance, but the taxi is cheap and always an adventure. Had no interest in trying the buss but it goes right by the hotel. Had no problem with timeshare on the hotel premises. Yeah they have the vendors on the beach, a smile and a wave while shaking your head no they go away.
The view of down town, watching the boats go in and out of the marina and the pool and grounds are outstanding.

A view of the upper levels of the hotel balconies by McKinneyMom, 4 more photos Good food but overpriced, at the many restaurants and poolside bars. Beautiful pools nestled among hundreds of palm trees - but there is a LOT of shade due to the trees! h flowers Pay extra - $7/day - to visit the gym. Great facility, but why pay more?? Nikki Beach is a great day spot - but you must spend money through drinks/food. Worth it to have your own beach "bed" or semi-shaded seating area. The hotel common areas are fantastic, really what you love to see for an authentic mexican breezeway area in a hotel! The art contributes to the feel, as do the fresh flowers, flavored waters in the waiting area, and music wafting up from the beachside pools. The cascading waters in the front of the hotel mimic the inside waterfalls as well, all contributing to the restful and relaxing atmosphere. Skip the spa treatments at the Westin - the pricing is exorbitant for Mexico! Instead, walk out of the resort, left past the neighboring hotel/resort, and into the Pacifica's free-standing spa. The prices are great, facitilies are clean if spare, and the treatments are incredible!! Everyone I met up with at the Westin was utilizing this spa, and we went nearly every day of our 7 day trip!
Across the street from the marina - where there are so many restaurants and shops. Pay the extra and join the "beach club" concierge level. This is a set of rooms on the 12th floor, with special access keys, where you can have a full service breakfast for all in your room, as well as a happy hour with all you can drink cocktails/beer as well as heavy appetizers. The food is great, the service is attentive (they remember you) and the views are spectacular. The pool service waiters were great, and when my hubby got sick, (the flu - not from the water!) they coordinated a fruit basket/card from the manager, and a visit from the doctor to make our stay better! Really personal service! Theme: HotelPrice: US$120-180 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageDirections: Marina area, right by the entrance to the bay, on the north side
