I did not sleeped at Chalma, but I did notice the only option for accomodation in the town. It is a small place, there are no hotels and nothing fancy. However since the place receives many pilgrims and not all of them have the chance to return to their hometown the same day of their visit you have the possibility of finding a bed for a very small price.
Some inhabitants of Chalma rent you a room in their houses for you to stay for the night, most of them only offer a bed and a clean bathroom. Chalma is a poor place and you only have to see the outside of the lodging to realize it is a modest place so don't expect any luxury. If you are on a budget and you don't care about anything except for a bed then it is a good option.
If you want a real hotel to sleep at then my recommendation would be to travel to the nearby Malinalco were tourism is important, there you'll find all kind of accomodations at different ptices.
