Inside the cabin!
by Laura_Mexico about Tiempo Compartido Avandaro
This is the interior of the cabin where my friend and I stayed... it was very comfortable and it's the ideal place to rest -- no TV, no radio, nothing but you and nature! Everything is provided to you: dishes, electric appliances for the kitchen, it has a nice dining room, and you can also buy your stuff and bring whatever you want to have to eat & drink. They can also provide wood for the fireplace (for a small fee).
Nice cottages in the outskirts
by Laura_Mexico about Tiempo Compartido Avandaro
Also called "La Querencia". A night there is approximately 150 US Dollars, depending on the size of the cabin you take. The smallest cabins can hold 4 people, the biggest ones can hold 8, and the price I mentioned covers the entire party (which means you would only pay 150 USD for a night in a 4 person cabin, NOT per person but only per night for the whole group). This is a nice resort with 2, 3 and 4 bedroom cabins such as the one on the picture. They all have a full kitchen (with dining room and dishes), bathroom(s) and living room with fireplace, very cozy. It's like having your own little house, yet they provide you with linens and daily maid service, so you don't even have to make the beds, sweep or do the dishes! They also have a pool in the front desk area (the resort is divided in 2 different sections and there's one with no pool) and a small playground for kids.
Lovely Waterfall

This is me in front of a nice waterfall you can find on your way downhill from Avandaro (where my hotel was) to Valle de Bravo, right next to the road. It looks really nice and you can stop there to relax for a while and admire the surrounding landscape.

Are there any horse farms/ranches/shows in Mexico?
by Royal63
I will be a frequent flyer to San Miguel de Allende, Gto. I don't know where to look or who else to ask about any horse activities, or horse farms. I found one website that gives guided horse back rides, but that is not what I want. Thank you.
