In the center of the Historic Center

I took a group of 45 (including my wife and myself) to Morelia on a 14-day in-country tour. This was the highlight of our tour with truly fantastic restaurants, churches, museums, plazas, shopping and the surprising, wonderful Mexican people. The apothecary jars displayed in the State Museum were a surprise to me as was the 4-mural display in the Sanctuario de Guadalupe (on Morelos Plaza). The Three Maidens fountain at the end of the aquaduct is superb photo material as is the cathedral at night. The monarch butterfly tour is a once in a lifetime adventure for those who truly appreciate Nature and the demands of an 11,000 feet high mountain trek.

Unique Quality: The breakfast buffet was, daily, among the best we've ever enjoyed with several of Mexico's most wonderful foods including cuitlacoche,, chilaquiles, tamales, tropical fruits and omelets. Our 3rd floor suite, with two bathrooms, provided ample space for entertaining, wonderful views of the historic center and an appreciable less-traveled route to the elevator (think privacy) via the hotel's 2nd dining room.
