Wedding Celebrations
by Ricardo_J_M
If you have never partaken in a Mexican Wedding, you must.
A traditional wedding consist of one factor, having fun.
We danced the night away in a beautiful environment with several forms of music, consisting of a three man xylophone, live band, dj, and to end the night a full mariachi band.
Cuernavaca

"City of the eternal spring"
Cuernavaca is the capital of Morelos.
Cuernavaca is located about one hour south of Mexico City and it's known as "the city of eternal spring" because of its hot weather year round.
A peaceful place to spend a weekend as it's surrounded by some of the most beautiful and culturally regions of the country.
The city's name comes from Nahuatl Cuauhnâhuac "place near trees". The name was altered to Cuernavaca by influence of the Spanish words cuerno "horn" and vaca "cow".
Learning Espanol in Cuernavaca (and loving it!)
by ricknkat
We were visiting Cuernavaca in the state of Morelos for about 2.5 weeks at the beginning of August '02. We were taking an intensive immersion type Espanol class and had a fantastic and super memorable time learning a ton and doing a crapload of exploring in our spare time. The International University (Center for Bilingual Studies) is very highly regarded and my wife is applying the credits toward an ESL certificate (Teaching English as a Second Language). I brushed up on my (rusty) Spanish with some intermediate language and cultural history classes. The school was absolutely fantastic- Their website is www.uninter.com.mx/ We should have some pics and a travelogue relatively soon (read, sometime in September). This is one of my sketches from the Borda Gardens which was once the home of the French Emperor Maxmilian and his wife Carlota.
Hasta Luego and Adios!
