COCO Hotel: COCO Hotel
Well, we came across this gentleman, whom seemed to look like one of the locals, so I ask him if he speaks english, and he replies pikito, small amount, then we discover he's swiss and visiting punta de mita and is a surfer, and asked him of hotel accommodations, which was $20 a night, we jumped on that and checked out of our hotel in Puerto Vallarta for 2 nights to check it out up north... what a nice experience.
Unique Quality: This hotel only had 14 rooms on 2 floors, almost like a storage unit appeal, w/metal door, a bed, small shelf to place your items and a bathroom with one running water temperature, COLD,.... lol at least it had running water and a flush toilet, clean, towels, bedding... and a rooster to walk us up. It is up off the beach a few steps, but Punta De Mita is maybe 200 people.

Hotel El Coral: Hotel El Coral is near the beach!
The Hotel El Coral is a few yards away from the beach. Although my daughter and I stayed in Puerto Vallarta, we came here to check some hotels for us to stay next time we head to Nayarit, Mexico for a family vacation.
This hotel has a nice restaurant with its dining overlooking the ocean. I would say that their food is okay but not that great. It is average.
We happened to use the facilities of the hotel and had lunch at their restaurant.
I will rate this hotel a 3 out of 5 for its facilities - the bathroom downstairs were not as clean as it should be and looked like it is not cleaned on a regular basis.
Unique Quality: The great thing about this hotel is it has rooms overlooking the beach and it has lounge chairs at the beach and some umbrella chairs.
