Convenient Downtown Location
Everything in this hotel is a little compact by big U.S. city standards (lobby, rooms, etc). But it is very clean and well maintained.
In the lobby there are two computers with internet access available to use for free.
I was told the hotel is going to be totally overhauled by about the end of 2005. It should be great by then
Unique Quality: This hotel may very well win the prize for cheapest valet parking for a major city hotel- only $2.50 US a day!
There is a pool and tennis/basketball court.
The breakfast buffet is extensive and has many Mexican specialities that you should try.

Hotel Rio ( A DoubleTree Hotel...
Hotel Rio ( A DoubleTree Hotel ) 241 rooms in two large towers.
With taxes, expect to pay well over $100 per night.
Unique Quality: Large hotel with excellent service. Close to the pedestrian only 'zona rosa' of Monterrey. There is underground, secure parking. The breakfast buffet is really good, but somewhat pricey. Heated pool, sauna, etc.
