IBIS and Hotels in general

In a few words: It sucked!
The receptionist was not friendly, rooms where small and the beds were as hard as a rock (not that any of the other hotels were any different). As far as location, if you wanna stay around the city's hoopla, don't stay here. It is a super long drive from the hotel to downtown Monterrey. If you are going for a business trip and you're gonna stay by the airport go for it. Just take a mattress pad. I'm serious when you arrive at the hotel with your mattress pad and feel the bed in the room, you'll LOVE me. This goes for just about any hotel in Mexico. One of the ladies at another hotel tried to explain that most hotels have "orthopedic" mattresses. Any one out there a chiropractic Dr? I didn't know waking up with a knots in back was a good thing.
