Luxury at low price
Very well located hostel.
It offers nice rooms or very clean dormitory.
Full breakfast is included and is changing every morning.
We stayed trhee nights in january 2012 and were very satisfied.
Unique Quality: On the top of the hostel you have a superb kitchen,dining room and laundry , all with a great view
over the city!

Perfect Hostel
I stayed at Hostel Don Nino for two nights in December, 2011. This is a great combination hotel and hostel, and my review applies to my experience in a ten-bed all-girls dorm room.
We arrived in Oaxaca with no reservations and walked from the bus station to the hostel in about ten minutes. The only room with availability was the ten-bed dorm room, so we checked in right away. The room was fairly small and the beds were close together, but it had great air circulation, half-sized lockers for each person, individual reading lights and other comfortable amenities. The bathrooms were located down a flight of stairs, where there were more than enough showers, toilets and sinks for all the guests to share. Rooms, bathrooms and common areas (including two computer stations upstairs and two downstairs) were always kept clean, and the hostel had a quiet, respectful vibe that was appreciated after our noisy Mexico City hostel. Another great feature of this hostel is the rooftop kitchen where guests can self-cater their own meals or just relax in the sun or shade with a good book. You won't need to prepare your own breakfasts, however; Don Nino has a great full-service restaurant in the lobby and your room rate includes a daily hot breakfast with full table service. Both breakfasts we enjoyed were excellent.
I would highly recommend Hostel Don Nino to any budget traveler visiting Oaxaca. Book in advance for private rooms, or try your luck on arrival with the dorms.
