The front desk staff were efficient, and our room was large, spacious and clean, with 3 beds. The room had 2 large French windows which opened onto tiny balconies, overlooking the street and the Zocalo towards the Cathedral. A marimba band playing in the street below our window added ambience. There was plenty of hot water for showers.
The restaurant had tables out in the street, which was great for watching the passing parade of locals and tourists. Our dinner, mole poblano (had to have that!) was delicious, in mid price range. Meal and drinks service was prompt and friendly.
Due to a very early start next morning, we were unable to sample the breakfast.
