I am looking to rent an apartment in Queretaro Mexico in mid Jan 2004 for 2 months. Does anybody know how I can get info. for this?

I live in Queretaro, what are you visiting it for? If it is for studying your school can arrange you a cheap accomodation. If it is for business, your company should arrange it for you.

It will be hard to find something for only 2 months, usual renting contracts are for periods of 6 months for students and a year for normal living purposes.

Thanks for your quick reply. I am actually a travel agent based in Toronto , Canada. I am looking for the condo for a client that will be going there for a vacation. I can't find any information anywhere.

This monument located at the entrance of Queretaro, this is the statue of Conin,the chief of Jilotepec, also known as Fernando de Tapia. He was a native Mexican of the Otomi people, who helped the Spanish conquer territories in the central part of Mexico during the 16th century.

In 1531, he helped to found the city of Santiago de Queretaro and was the first governor of the city. He became a noble to the Spanish crown.

Located in the center of Mexico, Querétaro, which full name is Querétaro de Arteaga in honor to Mr. José Maria Arteaga y Magallanes who was governor of the state for 4 times in the "Reforma" time, is one of the 6 smallest states in the whole country. Its 11,976 km2 of extension represent only the 6% of the total of the country. With 1´402,010 inhabitants, represents the 1.44% of the total population of the country.
Querétaro, besides, has a very nice weather, the most of the year, oscillates between 18º C and 21º C,
Main activities are industrial, that´s why there are 18 industrial parks. Also, agriculture and tourism are important.
