Fabulous 3-in 1 Hotel on the Riviera maya

This holiday was booked at last minute and I have nothing but praise for this vast hotel complex. The hotel is divided into 3 resorts on the 1 complex, Akumal, Coba and Tulum each with their own set of pools, restaurants and amenities, which are free for all guests to use regardless of which is your resort for the holiday. A shuttle service runs between all three affording guests a quick and convenient tour of the complex. As well as the buffets there are various restaurants on each complex which guests can use but these need to be booked in advance, whereas the buffet doesn't need pre booking. I have to say the food was absolutely fantastic, the choice was vast and the quality superb, we ate in the buffet and the restaurant and they were all 10/10. Kids are particularly well catered for, even the most fussy of child would be pressed to not find something they like and with free drinks etc all day on the all inclusive option, this is a blessing if you're travelling with children. The pools are clean and child friendly and with its locale beach side, should you fancy staying on the beach instead you don't have far to walk for your drinks etc as there are little kiosks open for guests serving drinks and fast food should you not wish to go to the buffet or one of the restaurants. The rooms are of a very good size with 3 kingsize beds in and are lovely and clean, and a nice touch is the towel sculptures of swans etc that the maids leave on your bed once a day.

Unique Quality: I cannot recommend this hotel enough the staff are superb and the location is teriffic, near enough for trips but far away enough for you to get away from it all. There is plenty of opportunity to see the local wildlife as the iguanas are in abundance all over Mexico and viewing them up close on the hotel grounds made my son's holiday! Everything about this place is 10/10 I have been to Mexico before but it came nowhere near the Bahia Principe. There are plenty of trips available from here I would particularly recommend Xel-Ha and Tulum, the Mexicans are very proud of their heritage and the diversity of wildlife they have and are keen to promote but ultimately preserve, therefore be prepared for them to give you alternative sachets of suntan cream to use when visting places like Xel-ha as these are free from harmful chemicals which can harm the fish and corals, so best not to apply before you go :)
