 | Cancún Camino Real - Cancun Reviews | 1 - 3 of 3 | | Located at Punta Cancun (at the top of the "7" -- which is how Cancun is shaped), the Camino Real is one of the oldest hotels in Cancun, but our favorite. With the standard open-air lobby, you are greated with sun-splashed island colors. Some people think the room colors are strange - deep blue, magenta and white - but we think they fit right into the life in paradise vibe the hotel gives you.
The Camino has two excellent beaches, both of which provide pretty good snorkeling. We've seen quite a few fish in the waters on the Southeastern side of the hotel. The hotel's restaurants are all wonderful, especially Maria Bonita and Las Brisas. We find the staff to be gracious and accomodating. If you have the extra funds, spring for the upgrade to the Tower -- a nice continental breakfast and manager's reception is included each day. Leave a Comment
