Cancun in the fall is lovely! The water is warm!
by enzow
In the winter, if it's cold where you live. If not, the prices are cheapest in the fall. You can see a run down of weather at different times of the year at http://www.beachcondocancun.com/thingstodo.asp The water is really warm in the fall, still, probably in the mid eighties, and it's wonderful to swim, snorkel, and totally relax in! I love too snorkel and boogie board, and it's like being away from it all! The prices and crowds are down in the fall, also. And, it's not as hotel as the summer. I think traveling alone with my husband (without 3 kids)!, and we had so much fun zipping around on a scooter around Cozumel. We accidentally came across some hidden ruins, and they were really interesting! It started to rain on us, but it was warm rain, and we barely made it back in time. But, we circled the whole island, and saw the other, unihabited part of Cozumel, and swam a little, and just relaxed in the sand, away from the crowds. It was like there were just two of us in that part of the world, very romantic!
Making New Friends

We met some really nice folks while we were here. Because we all came down on the same charter, we found that we live quite close to each other. Not pictured are Tomas and Marta, we regularly shop at the supermarket across the street from where we live.

Visit Isla Mujeres !
You can get to the island by taking a ferry from Puerto Juarez. The island is only 7*1km, so not too big. The island got it´s name when the Spaniards came looking for slaves in 1517 and found nothing but women on the island (all the men we´re fishing). Isla Mujeres and it´s beautiful beaches! Here´s me on one of them enjoying a coconut. (In the picture above you can see Isla Mujeres vaguely in the background).
Waterpark Parque Nizuc
by Gard
We went to a place called Parque Nizuc. This place is a sort of Wet 'n' Wild waterpark. It cost about 250 pesos pr person to get it and there were not that many rides inside. We even had to pay extra to get a tiny locker inside and we had to put down like 200 pesos in a deposit to get this. This park is connected to other attractions (such as a place where you can swim with dolphins) but it costs extra to get into these places. But we did have fun in the park for several ours and we did try most of the slides 3-4 times. There is a wave pool in the middle of the park and the waves were great :-)
