Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 15, 2011

Nice and quiet hostel not far from the beaches. Cheap dorms incluing breakfast with a television and dvds in the living room, a kitchen to cook your own food, and a jaccuzzi on the roof ! Laundry on the first floor, and bbq on the terrace, free wifi on a nice terrace with a lots of plants. Rooms and bathroom are clean with A/C and fans.

Unique Quality: Cool view from the roof and quick walk to the bus terminal ! A supermarket is situated one block away !

Directions: Located in the center, near shops markets buses and supermarket !

Hostel Marpez is a great little place. Right next to the supermarket, and bus route to the strip. It is only 5 minutes walk from the bus station, and nearby are lots of wonderful bars and resteraunts.

Why pay strip prices when you can stay in downtown, meet the locals and get the bus for a few pence. (Bus takes 5 mins to the hotel zone)

The owner speaks English and is very friendly and helpful.

The place has dorms and privates which are clean, and have warm water and air con.

The place has good security and felt very safe.

There is a kitchen, and TV room. Wifi is available, though I didn't seem tobe able to get any connection.

Unique Quality: Was very quiet when I was there, so maybe not the best place if you want to meet people.

However, everywhere was quiet due to swine flu so I am sure it is usually much more lively.

Jacuzzi for small fee.
