The Condominiums Brisas complex is comprised of 3 main blocks of rooms with a centrally-located convenience store, swimming pool area, beach access and security guards at the gate. We were on the 4th floor so had a great view of the Caribbean in one direction or the Lagoon in the other direction. The particular suite that we had was not 'top of the line' but it served our needs quite well. The owner, Jean Pierre, was more than willing to sit down and chat and also kindly drove us back to the airport at the inhumane time of 5 AM ! The web-site that I used to find Brisas is listed below under "Other".
Unique Quality: Brisas has an excellent swimming pool area - well maintained and, because it is not an all inclusive resort, it is not very busy. If you wish, you can descend onto the beach and frolic in the Sea or walk up and down the beach in either direction. It was nice to have a place to "get away from it all" ! We paid US$85/night for our 9 night stay.
Directions: Near the lower end of Cancun's "7-shaped" strip of hotels and resorts.
