Helpfulness
The only place to stay in Chetumal
This adventure was the perfect mix of luxury and wildness. Timid people need not go because of the very high humidity, heat, the myriad of insects and endless biting insects. The accomodations were definitely first class with separate bungalows for everyone that give the appearance of thatched huts. Each hut is fully air-conditioned and sealed to prevent bugs from entering. The bathroom is full sized with limestone floors and a shower that gives the illusion of showering outdoors.
Unique Quality: .This was a fantastic experience because of its location in the jungle and so close to so many Mayan ruins. It is right in the middle of the Mexican Archaeological Zone and near lakes and lagoons that have water sports.
