???: I havent been in a hotel there

If you wanna stay in a hotel near Coba then you can check this page :

In the left corner you can find hotels that are near Coba.

Most of the hotels are in Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Riviera Maya or Peurto Morelos.
So that is still about 3 hours away !
I think there are no hotels nearby cause its all jungle. But maybe there are some guesthouses?

Villa Arquelogica: By the lake

The only middle-upscale option in Coba, its a surprisingly pleasant hotel aside the lake. Great outdoor swimming pool (very welcome after the ruins and jungle tracks) and a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. Rooms are pleasant, comfortable without being flash. Restaurant is apparently well thought of, but didn't try it.

Virtually the only option in Coba!
