We stayed at Na Balam the week of our wedding in June, 2006. Fifty friends and family members joined us for most of the week, about thirty of them staying at Na Balam. The beach was gorgeous, the rooms immaculate, and the service very attentive. The management was very helpful in setting up our wedding on the beach.
Unique Quality: Beach has crystal clear, calm, blue water, nice furniture, and umbrellas.
The nicest place I've found to stay on Isla Mujeres is the Hotel Na Balam. Located on the north end of the island and fronting on Playa Norte, it has nice rooms with air conditioning, a good restaurant, and a great beachfront bar.
Special deals can be found on the internet for substantial discounts off regular room rates.
Charlotte and I got married on Isla Mujeres at the Na Balam resort hotel. We spent a fantastic week down there with friends and family on the beach.

My wife and I are heading to Isla Mujeres (Hotel Na Balam) the last week of January, first week of February.
I am a little concerned that the prior hurricanes have left the island in bad shape. Does anyone know if Isla Mujeres was spared extensive damage?

I haven't been to Isla Mujeres, but I was in both Cancun and other places along the coast in October and November. Noone had any problems or damage after the hurricanes, and I don't think there is any big damages on Isla Mujeres either. Enjoy your holiday! :)
