The bar is definitely awesome. Its located on the beach and the bar has swings instead of stools...Careful with the alcohol though, hehehe :) Beach clothes are fine!

Great beach accomm
We stayed 2 nights here - very nice and clean, right on the beach (some rooms have a sea view or partial sea view, and others don't - depends on whats available). Friendly and helpful staff. Disappointed by the small continental breakfast (fruit and toast), but still decent value overall. They didn't have glasses in the room and the fridge was locked. Also, no coffee facilities in the room - they said that you have to pay extra for coffee!!
Unique Quality: Perfect location, just 2 blocks down from the busy main street, but still quiet and peaceful. 5 - 10 minute walk from the main bus station. Lovely view, especially while enjoying it from your hammock on the patio. Lovely decor in the room and funky bathroom! Nice having airconditioning too!

This hotel caught our eye, with its white stucco exterior, palapa, roof, and the blue parrot on the building.
It is one of the favorite hotels in the area but we did not stay here.
We just couldn't resist getting a picture.

Almost stayed here........may next time
We almost stayed here but we were not sure if the rooms were right next to the bar. We checked it out, and there is a decent amount of distance between the bar on the beach and the rooms.
Nice rooms, good food, nice place, centrally located, reasonably priced. May stay next time. ;-)

Blue Parrot Casa
The Blue Parrot Inn offers small cabanna rooms a few blocks away from the main hotel. These small buildings offer a more secluded option and come with kitchens.

Mailing address for the Blue Parrot Hotel/club
I just got back from Playa del Carmen and I met some really cool people. Unfortunatley I lost all their contact information on the trip home. The only way I can think of is to send a letter to them at the place where they worked. Does anyone know the mailing address to the Blue Parrot Hotel and bar? I would like to stay in contact with the friends I met, but right now It's not looking so promising. Does anyone have any advice for me? I would very much appreciate you're help!! Hope all is well on you're trips!
