I have some questions, I want to go from San Pedro to Playa del Carmen in one day. Is that possible? I'd prefer by bus because plane is more expensive. and how much time does it take? I have no idea how to do it .. Does anyone know of the buscompanys in Belice?

I usually get in around 5.30 if i remember properly and leave on a ferry at about 6.00am. you'll have to check the bus and ferry schedules when you get there and can buy a ticket ahead of time from all over belize
bags that roll are best for traveling comfortable shoes (2 pair), summer clothes, a hat, rain poncho, long pants for men to go to the restaurants in the evening, at least 2 swim suits band aids, medicine for upset stomach, sun burn cream camera, video camera, lots of film, fresh battery beach towel insulated cup or mug, incense, inflatable pillow, bug repellent
If you are new in town and don't know where to go or what to do. I recommend you do the playacrawl. Its the only bar crawl in playa del carmen. They took us to 5 different bars and clubs during the night, we had drinks all night and had the best time ever. playacrawl.com Casual
Good food comes with Mexican entertainment at this restaurant. Waiters start the party by making noise with trays and escorting women to the dance floor as a Mexican band played. The food here is pretty good as well so I usually ate at least 1 meal a day here.
From 2003. Everyone loves this place. It's one of the few places that has a line every night. Honestly, we didn' get it. We went in late so maybe everyone was tired. After eating at Las Brisas we were spoiled when it came to lobster. They had a special on small lobster tails, but when we asked what was a better value, those, or splitting one real tail, it seemed to send everyone into a frenzy, as no one could tell us how big the regular tails were. We had to ask to see it, and ordered it, and it was quite good. But our waiter was just below par and I think we may have ticked him off a little. The Lobster of course!
The Ruins at Tulum
A 30 minute drive south of the resort brings you to the ancient ruins at Tulum. Make sure you go early, before it gets too hot, and before the busloads of tourists arrive. My advice is to hire a guide. For about $20 the guide will walk you around, give you the history, and answer all your questions.
Tulum is situated right on the ocean, and the views are stunning. The contrast between the ancient grey limestone buildings, pinkish sand beach and the turquoise sea will take your breath away. After your tour, make sure to go for a swim.
