The hotel outside was adorable. The lobby, open space area, in a tropical style.
The rooms on the other hand are not impressive. Very average, conditioner only is set up in the bedroom. The kitchen is not very pleasant to cook in.
The customer service was ok. I usually don't really care if hotel personally is rude or not, but they really pissed us off when they demanded $20 for their crappy sheets because I got some of the Aloe Vera on it. Have they heard of Bleach???
We had a great short stay and Posada Mariposa in July. The hotel was small enough to be quiet and intimate, the staff was friendly and always helpful. (more like an Inn) Our room was on the 3rd or 4th floor toward the back of the hotel, and we were very happy with it. It had two double beds, the floors and bathroom were clean, and the room had an large closet that would have been great for a longer stay. I think our room was $70ish per night, and although nothing fancy a good value for the area.
Cute little court yard, and good location and toward the end of 5th Ave. (which was a good thing for us, because it quieter, and we liked this part of the beach the best)
