Has anyone stayed at the Playa maya or Riviera del Sol
Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels? If so I am wondering about food and drink prices, cleanliness, everything.

They rent really nice studios at Playa del Carmen, they might not be all inclusive, but you don´t want to have all inclusive because there are many good restaurants to eat out.
I stayed at a small studio for 40 us a night, really clean, really nice, dont remember the name because I just found it in front of a sushi stand at the Quinta Avenida Area.

I have not stayed at either one, but I have stayed at the Aventura Spa Palace and the Iberostor Quetzal. The Quetzal was the best overall, good food, nice beach, greta decor. I would highly recommend it. If you have never been to this area before, you should know that there isn't much night life at any of the resorts. You have to go into Playa Del Carmen for that.

One of my favorites in Playa is the Pelicano Inn.

Stayed at the Playa Maya. It was wonderful. Small, quaint hotel right on the beach. Just as they advertised. Only drawback is a small pool but the beach is right there.
