We're thinking of staying at the Hotel Real Plaza and want to know if it's a good place to stay and if the area is good. Any suggestions of where else we might stay? Also, we can't seem to find any web site where we can make a reservation for that the Hotel Real Plaza. How can we go about doing this if we don't speak Spanish even if we were to phone. If it's not close to the center of the old part of the city, any idea what a taxi would cost?
I have friend in SLP and they tell me the HOTEL is very GOOD, just in "Avenida Carranza " where yo cat find a lot of restaurants, and places to go... teh center of tehe city is very near about 10 min (walking distance)

Visit the Fundadores Square, where you find the Founders Monument and fountain, El Sagrario, also known as La Compañía Church, the Loreto Chapel and the University’s main building that is located in front of Fundadores Square.

This is the Principal Plaza in the city located at downtown and it's surrounded by the Cathedral, Palacio Municipal & Palacio de Gobierno.
On thursday & Sunday you can hear the state band playing some Danzon.
Due the changes on VT, I will give info that is more detailed later. I will place only pictures now and I will see what will happen after the start of VTML. To stay on VT or not to stay, that is the question ;-)
