We need to know how often the train through the Cobre Canyon leaves the Mochis...at what time? Does anyone know?!

There used to be just one first class train a day leaving at 06-00 from Los Mochis, but I'm not sure if this is still the case -- I did the journey a few years ago from Chihuahua to Los Mochis -- that also left at 06-00.

DON'T FORGET to have a look on the travelogue... the scenery between los mochis and el divisadero....
Take a bus from Los Mochis (a block down from the Red Cross) to Topolobampo (port) and/or Malviri (beaches). Either of these options gives you a chance to see the water and get out of the not-so-charming downtown area of Los Mochis.
A paceful city with very warmth people, you have a lot of places to visit near the city and of course into the city, you can take the chihuahua-pacifico train to chihuahua and enjoy one of the most exciting trips on train, you will cross the Tarahumara mountain range.
You can also visit the topolobampo bay, and the maviri, wich is a quiet virgin beach, I have news about a new project there about some marinas to receive yachts.
