Timeshare sales, pain in the neck
by Denissr
No. There is a local tour company that will provide round trip service, airport to hotel for $28.00 U.S... King David Tours at, http://www.kingdavid.com.mx/
I highly recommend them.
Beware of timeshare sales people they are everywhere. Sometimes 4 in one block, takes the enjoyment out of walking around the streets shopping. Even in the stores they accosted us, in the restaurants they interrupted our meal to sell us a timeshare. They spoiled my trip.
The Locals' Beach
by JetlagCity
The beach between the Zona Dorada and town is often called "the locals' beach". It's rockier and less crowded, and sometimes you'll find a few locals catching a bit of wave action on their surfboards. It’s a nice place to go for a walk if you want some peace and quiet and a break from the tourist crowd.
Fabulous People of Mazatlan
by mazatlanfan
I enjoyed taking the time to talk to the vendors on the beach... Some may think it is a chore but I liked that aspect of my trip. I tried to get to know as many of them by name as I could.. They loved the fact that you remembered their name. This would also stop the harrassment of them trying to sell you something... They began stopping by just to visit. I look at it as the chance to learn about another way of life and meet new friends along the way.
WAVERUNNER BEACH
by travelgourmet
Waverunning is a lot of fun but it can also be dangerous. So, if it is the first time or many times out on a waverunner, respect the ocean and the swells and waves. Be alert and the fun will be there. You sit on a water motorcycle and drive across the water, is the best way to describe this exciting watersport. A bathing suit is all you need to enjoy the outing on the sea. Money wise, it costs $80-$100 dollars for one hour of fun. Bargain the price, it is not fixed. Two can ride at the same time.
Un Mágico Recorrido Por El Viejo Mazatlán
by AnnaLupilla
