golf partners in Club Campestre Mazatlan

by carodecale

Hello
I will be in Mazatlan for 1 month with my wife and I am hoping to play at the Golf Campestre, I am staying in the Golden Zone; anyone planning to go between Feb 10 to March 10 as my wife does not play? Thank you

T think you might get a better response on a specialist Forum for golfers.

Google found this one for me

but I noticed there were many more to choose from.
Good Luck.

Travel Tips for Mazatlán

three different towns

by mazjimmy

the top of the Freeman hotel for sunset, or anytime, the best view of old town and the beach, not to be missed...this ties with buying shrimp by the kilo from the shrimp ladies and going to Dunia's while the Banda plays and they fix your meal at $3 a kilo. for the cheap tour of all Mazatlan you need a bus then a cab or travel truck. Old town is where the tourist industry started, then the Golden Zone, where the time/share.cruise ships take you, then new Mazatlan where you need an invitation to visit. you can see them all from a bus! You can do all of these in the time your ship is here or in a two day split the variety of seafood at low cost, the only downside is the lobster, not cold water taste!. At the cantinas the gringos often over look, the botana is FREE LUNCH, food with your beer! Can not be afraid to venture in the DAY time off the beaten path...as everywhere night can be a little risky.

Plan ahead save money

on cruiseship days there is a lottery for the guys and they seem to raise prices! Eco-taxi is cheaper and safer! NEVER get in a cab in Mazatlan without an agreed price! also if you are on a ship, you must have three things: !) a 30 pesos phone card for Telemex, most phones don't take coins,if they do it's pesos, so if you have a problem you are prepared to call for help2) get pesos. Banks will not change dollars without passport and usually no $100 bills. By not bringing a few pesos with you, you stand to lose $10 per $100!3)sunscreen and water! Enjoy

Trevellers...

< IMMIGRATION >

Trevellers from US need a valid passport and a tourist card available at the border. Trevellers from other countries should check with a Mexican consulate or embassy. Basiccally, short stay for not longer than 72 hours needn't any tourist visa.

Pesca Deportiva

by AnnaLupilla

Climb *** Mountain!

by bluehypernova

This was truly a beautiful little hike up the mountain, but what they don't tell you is that it's right next to a sewage treatment plant. Yuck! We found ourselves running up to escape the smell. Also, make sure you where actual shoes rather than sandals--there be ants on them there hills.
