Colors, Colors, Colors
by Hermanater
The thing I noticed most about Mexico was the vibrant colors of everything. From the poorest houses and rundown playgrounds to the getaway spots for the rich, everything is so colorful it is almost surreal. Seeing the bright colors and bright smiles
Lety's Restaurant!
by guybert
Lety's Restaurant on Stone Island is a spot that we go every time we go to Mazatlan. It's a very relaxing day on a semi secluded beach that sets you back a few decades to the way Mexico used to be.
We end up having a few drinks, a great meal & relax the afternoon away. We usually go as a group of 12 to 18 at a time. It makes for a fun day of just socializing & enjoying the good weather.
Tipping

Tipping...
At restaurants, 10 to 15% is standard, but check to ensure a tip has not been included in your bill. Be sure to differentiate between the 15% tax and a tip. Bellmen usually receive about 3 pesos per bag and maids 4 to 5 pesos per day. It is not necessary to tip taxi drivers unless they have rendered special services, such as waiting while you go into a store or business. Tour guides should be tipped for a tour well done. The young boys and girls at major supermarkets typically receive 50 centavos to 1 peso for helping bag and carry groceries - they receive no salary. Delivery people (farmacia, pizza, fast food, flowers,) should also be tipped.
Parasailing!
by guybert
A lot of people end up parasailing while on holidays. It's an excellent way to see the city & the countryside from a different viewpoint. It also gets the blood flowing from the excitement & if nothing else, cools you off nicely from being pulled around by a powerboat.
Portales de Canobbio
by AnnaLupilla
