Most of the hotels in Mazatlan...
Most of the hotels in Mazatlan are along the beach and can become quite expensive. If you are looking for a more economical one I would recommend the Sands hotel. The hotel is located across the street from the beach and only a mile or so from the gold zone.
For one night it is around 30-40 dollors.
Unique Quality: The hotel does have a pool and a full bar and restaurant as well. The view is very beautful at sunset with the ocean and the islands in the background.
