Plaza Las Glorias Puerto Penasco

Las Glorias, overglorified...

I've been to Rocky Point many times, and stayed a lot of different places but never Plaza Las Glorias. I had always heard that it was the best place to stay, so when Nate and I went for the first time, I bit the bullet, payed the $120/night off-peak rate, and chalked it up to a romantic getaway.
The accommodations were no different than those that you could get at a $40/night hotel in Mexico. The lounge was lame, and service was uncharacteristically unfriendly.
The pool was nice, however, and we did enjoy our trip overall...we just could have enjoyed it for half the price!

Unique Quality: The place is right on the beach, and somewhat secluded from the masses. It does have a particuliarly nice area to go explore the reef when the tide goes out. It is pretty far away from everything else, so plan on taking taxi's everywhere.
