"Villahermosa, Land of Extremes"

I have spent the last year in Villhermosa on a work assignment. The area has plenty to offer for the tourist and business traveler. Many new Hotels have been built recently, in all price ranges, there are plenty of restaurants, and lots of shopping opportunities. On the other hand, a short drive will get you to spectacular caves, waterfalls and Mayan ruins.

There are very rich people here, due to the oil fields all around. At the same time, there are many poor who live off the land.

Being from Buffalo, NY, I find the temperature too hot, year round.
