Decent, Standard Hotel - Good location

Just came back from a brief business visit to Reynosa.
Here's my experiences of the place:

OVERALL: Good clean hotel

RECEPTION: Friendly service, perhaps not as fast as it could be. No problems, efficient.

ROOM: Upon entering the room it was obvious that the air-con had been left off, the fridge was turned off too, perhaps to save on energy. Room was average in space and without mini bar but with a large-ish fridge which you could stuff with your goodies.

BATHROOM: Clean, all fixtures worked although they looked kind of aged. Hairdryer worked fine and the same for the kettle and coffee-maker. Amenities were your standard soap, shampoo conditioner assortment and also a complimentary coffee kit which was handy.

ROOM AMENITIES: 29" TV, with an assortment of Spanish and English language programmes. No Pay-TV.
High speed internet: Here you have two choices, either hook-up to a LAN cable or use the wireless portal. In both cases access is fast reliable and FREE.

RESTAURANT: Restaurant was spacious and with a good variety of nicely cooked food. Food preparation/service was a little slow/late. However, it is a bit on the pricey side especially compared to a multitude of local alternatives.

BAR: Adjacent to the restaurant is the the hotel bar which is on the small side but has a good enough stock of all the essentials. Staff are friendly and helpful.

OTHER AMENITIES: The hotel had a pool, a business suite and conferencing services but I didn't use any of them to comment.

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Not the best hotel you're likely to visit but it is decent, clean and nicely located. An honest solid proposition.
