The Pyramid at the 'Colonia Las Flores'
This Pyramid is located on Avenida Chairel in the section of town known as Colonia Flores, just two blocks from Avenida Hidalgo by way of Azahar street. Constructed by the Huasteco Indians between the years of 600 B.C. and 1200 B.C., This pyramid made of mud, sand, seashells and ceramics , and its exterior coated with mortar, lime, and sand was once merely one of forty, and was used for rituals to indigenous gods.
Visiting fours are from 10:00 A.M. through 5:00 P.M. Tuesdays through Sundays (Mondays are closed), and Saturdays from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
