Hotel Don Pablo: A Gem in Misantla

When visiting Misantla, I always stay with family, but trust me: The Hotel Don Pablo is the only lodging to consider. Construction was finished in late 2003 and the owners take great pride in their business. Other lodging in town is of poor quality (by-the-hour rates, for example.) Here, however, is a place where you will find a mint on your pillow.

Disclaimer: The owners are acqaintances of mine, but I have no personal stake in posting this recommendation.

The Hotel Don Pablo is located on Parque Morelos, the main plaza in Misantla. It is connected to an arcade with a boutique and small cafe, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the hotel's atrium. The decor is charming, and some rooms have a small balcony. Off-street parking is available, and the hotel is also steps away from the bus station.
