Bargain Hotel for Families

This place is no frills. You can get a room with a fan only or a room with air conditioner. The rooms with the fans are not bad and they air out well. I was there in the summer and the fan worked fine in the hot heat. I recommend staying on the 1st floor because heat rises.
A lot of families stay here. I was there with only my husband, but I saw a ton of families. It is a great place for families because it is quiet and there is a pool. I think the best thing about this hotel is the pool. The economical price and the pool are the reasons to stay here. Also, it is conveniently located around the corner from the bus station and a few blocks away from the zocalo.
It can get quite loud when people are using the pool, but it really wasn't that bad. Another issue is that the pipes in the bathroom don't smell all that great (but that is not uncommon is some places).
They have free wifi in the lobby. The staff is OK. The rooms are clean.

Unique Quality: The pool is awesome. Make use of the pool if you stay there.
