Hôtel Robert: St. Pierre's largest hotel/motel

The property is just a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We used some of our limited French to get by, but the staff had some knowledge of English too. There's a gift shop in the lobby of the hotel stocked with all sorts of St. Pierre et Miquelon souvenirs: clothing, stickers, pins, magnets, postcards, key chains, writing material, etc.
Our spacious room was located in the motel part of the property, the building behind the original hotel. There's a great restaurant on site called La Voilerie.
The breakfast room offers a superb waterfront view.
Al Capone once stayed in the hotel during the Prohibition Era in the 1920s. His hat is on display in the small museum that is adjacent to the breakfast room.
