Lost my charge in Birmingham
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. However, I switched rooms and left my cell phone charger in my first room. 3 hours later realized it and asked the front desk to retrieve it from my original room. They went to the original room and said it was not there. I could not have possibly lost it as I went from one room to the other. It made the rest of my day horrible as they did not "find" it and had none that I could use. This was not my major complaint....that came as some lady from the hotel shuttled me to the airport.....it was the second scariest ride of my life.... the first was the ride to AL from WI....thus the airport ticket home. My suggestion to the airport is to take the woman off the list of drivers to the airport. We were all over the road swaying back and forth....hitting gravel and every pothole in the road. I was very happy to get off the shuttle. Please get a safer driver....Thank you for listening.
Unique Quality: Very nice, clean and nice view across the street! Front desk help was very friendly.

Hampton Inn Colonnade
I usually stay (about one or 2 nights a week for past 2 years) at this Hampton. I keep coming back because my companies office is practically next door, so it's very convenient. The staff is very nice and also extremely Southern. By that I mean expect a strong accent. This Hampton stays booked due to the location being close to several large company offices, so book ahead. The breakfast is plentiful and adequate. No cable movies on demand, if you're so inclined.
