More beauty...

Another view of this pretty part of the Gulf. Apparently the ocean was quite calm that day, with the waves picking up in size later. But that didn't matter to me...it was all beautiful.
"Early morning seamist..."
This will be hard to describe: waking up just before dawn, going out into the chilly but fresh air, and watching the sun slowly come up over the eastern horizon, gradually warming the air and creating wisps of mist that would float off the water creating an aura of mystery to the scene. Just fantastic. We stood quietly and watched it as the colors changed and brightened. Birds flew in flocks in front of us...pelicans and seagulls and heron. Below us, in low tide, a small stretch of beach was visible and more seabirds were visible scurrying around trying to catch the unsuspecting sealife there. The air was clean, crisp, and slightly salty and one had the sense that it was going to be a great day!
about 15 minutes later than the picture above....as seen from the balcony of the hotel.
Can you imagine being able to run out of your apartment any time of the day and you're on the beach?? Does one ever get tired of it? I can't fathom that thought lol. And look at that sky!!!!!!!
The peace of the beach in the off-season. No crowds, lots of quiet places to walk, a lone fisherman trying his luck.....this is what I like.
"Thank you, Paul, for the time of my life!...:)"
