Beautiful Wonderful Hotel
Stayed March 17-26 and used this hotel as a place for family to sleep, shower, eat and have a little downtime between numerous trips to Huntsville Hospital to visit parents who were involved in a car accident. Hotel is excellent in every way. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful and a shuttle would provide free transporation to the hospital and back. The cleaning ladies were caring and did a great job, the shuttle drivers were also so caring, front desk staff always pleasant and General Manager Imran Hussain was awesome. Our every need was attended to far above the what would be usual and customary. They went way above the call of duty!! Underground parking in lower level was great in rainy weather. Laundry facilities were immense help to us. Hotel is beautiful and so convenient!!
Unique Quality: Everthing was great. For obvious reasons we were not there for pleasure and never went to look at the pool but know that it woiuld be awesome just like the rest of the hotel was. NO complaints whatsoever. Spectacular accommodations!

Possible move

Might be transferred to this area. Any suggestion as to what "burg" area I should look at first?

Well, a belated reply. I'll giive you the same advice I gave ewary. Huntsville is my hometown and it is a great place to live and a great place to raise a family! Based on your inquiry, I would say check out the Five points area which is eccletic with moderately priced homes (coffee shop hearby). The Blossomwood area is the best in my opinion, more mainstream established with a variety of homes (small, large, old, new) and great location (my neighborhood). Another good one is the Jones Valley area. Newer homes are in Hampton Cove or out in Madison, but you are further away and the homes are a little "cookie cutter". By the way, Huntsville was named the #1 place to increase net worth in the USA. That is high salaries and low cost of living. High education level too.

Soon to be under construction. Lower on list of to do! Space Camp was located here in Huntsville. It was awesome! I recommend that you send your kids here if they have an interest in the Space Program!!! For more info, go to http://www.spacecamp.com/spacecamp/ where I got that photo!
Space Camp for many years

"Augie and Annie at Space Camp"
This is a wonderful experience for the kids-at first Mark and I did the Parent-child week-end with them-then they loved it so they went back many times to the different levels-Annie completed them all by the time she graduated from HS. Her ambition then had been to become an astronaut-who knows-she may still-she graduates from USAFA in June. This is a great place for kids and teenagers to learn about space and rockets -they go through simulations and they make them feel like they're really an astronaut!
Everthing was great. For obvious reasons we were not there for pleasure and never went to look at the pool but know that it woiuld be awesome just like the rest of the hotel was. NO complaints whatsoever. Spectacular accommodations!
