A Small Town That Continues To Grow
A lot of industry seems to be coming to this area. That's why most people move here in the first place, either they are getting away from Huntsville to a more "country" and "relaxed" place, or they are flying in from another state to work. Toyota is currently hiring for workers in this area, that's the biggest news.
Madison's boundaries are basically all the area between Highway 72 and I-565. On the I side you will find more businesses, small and large..its basically just industries and the normal restaurants, fast food places, hotels and convenience stores to serve those passing by on the highway. On the H-72 side you will find more "neighborhood" type places: grocery stores, the older parts of Madison where it engulfed even smaller places like Triana, the new and expensive houses being built to accommodate the country seekers. That is has grown from what it was 20 years ago, just a small stripe of a town you pass through on your way to bigger places.
