Wow...we got a suite here for $65.00!! It was amazingly cheap and in a decent location. Definitely easy to locate if you know the service roads in Mobile and honestly, a perfect central location right between Midtown and West Mobile.

They are just standard Best Western Rooms but for the price, it's definitely to your advantage to upgrade to a suite. Keep in mind that you will pay much more during Mardi Gras season...they were booking rooms up when we were there in mid-december. Bobby and I were satisfied with this hotel...not amazed, but it was comfortable and better than some hotels in the area

It's one of the nicest hotels downtown...and definitely within walking distance of historical sites and Dauphin street for nightlife and good places to eat. From the hotel, you can easily access I-10 to go to the battleship and across the bay. Also, it's one of the most upscale and therefore expensive hotels in Mobile, but given the location and the amenities that come with it, it's worth it. I have been here for special college/sorority related functions before...it's a good hotel

They have a good restaurant and lounge. In a way, it reminds me of the hotel Bobby and I got married at in New Orleans. The hospitiality is top notch, the hotel is pretty inside...there's a fitness room and pool. From the top floors, the view of Mobile can't be beaten.

A very handy location for us with limited time. The Battleship Memorial Park was right at our door and where we planned to visit the next morning. The view from the room was great but all told it was a fairly average motel. No breakfast or room service but a restaurant was at the front of the property which served breakfast lunch and dinner.
    .

Right next door to the Battleship Memorial Park - picture was looking back from the deck of the USS Alabama. Great view in the morning of the ship from our room.

This hotel was near the center of town and was a great location between my cousins home and the historic district. We had to get 2 connecting rooms so all 6 of us had a place to sleep!! They have a nice pool and a small game room in the lobby for the kids.

  • Even with my Google map and notes on how to get here, this was a difficult hotel to reach. Not find, REACH, because of its location at an Interstate junction. You have to find just the right lane, otherwise you could end up blocks away before being able to turn around.

This is basically a big roadside hotel with a motel extension around back. The hotel part had the indoor pool and bar you'd expect in these places, while out back you had the usual drive-up-and-park rooms. The whole place was a bit non-descript. Clean but comfortable. I honestly don't remember much else about it, aside from the big cooked breakfast buffet (eggs, biscuits, sausages, etc). Though you aren't waited on, the cooks and porters appreciate your tips.

Check-in was a breeze. It sounds like they have many people staying here using the local airport, as they offered a shuttle service. The location is convenient for travellers, but having the Interstate so close and being surrounded by weird slip roads, tricky exits and bland strip malls meant the neighbourhood was of no interest whatsoever.
