Great Location

It's one of the nicest hotels downtown...and definitely within walking distance of historical sites and Dauphin street for nightlife and good places to eat. From the hotel, you can easily access I-10 to go to the battleship and across the bay. Also, it's one of the most upscale and therefore expensive hotels in Mobile, but given the location and the amenities that come with it, it's worth it. I have been here for special college/sorority related functions before...it's a good hotel

Unique Quality: They have a good restaurant and lounge. In a way, it reminds me of the hotel Bobby and I got married at in New Orleans. The hospitiality is top notch, the hotel is pretty inside...there's a fitness room and pool. From the top floors, the view of Mobile can't be beaten.

Q: Ferry services? "I know there is a ferry from Mobile to Dauphin Island, but I'm looking for a little longer trip. Does anyone know of any ferry..."

A: "I don't think a ferry would be able to make the trip all the way to Mexico. But, look into Carnival Cruise -- they've got a ship that has a home port in Mobile!"
