F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum
I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to venture to see this even though the book "The Great Gatsby" was one of my first favorite literatures I had read at a very early age. Probably too young at the time, but I was very mature for my age. It turned out to be a very interesting visit and the curator Mr. Michael McCreedy was informative and helpful in educating me with the lives of the Fitzgerald's. The one thing that I really enjoyed was reading the actual handwriting of Zelda to F.Scott. And not knowing what a wonderful artist she was too as well as being a wonderful writer.
No admission fees, but donations are accepted.
Directions: Exit I-85 right onto Curry then left onto Arba and then right onto Decatur then left onto Carter Hill road and then turn left right onto Dunbar.
It is located among the residents since this was The Fitzgerald home for one year. Now it is a landmark.
