Confederate War Memorial
This was a wonderful find. I was shopping for a pair of shorts when I could hear all this laughing and screams and thought to myself what the heck. As I kept venturing more into the mall, I discovered they have this wonderful iceskating rink with happy children having a great time. It was nice and cool inside because of the rink, but it was hot and humind outside.

this beautiful greek revival home was built by berry owens in 1848. the teague house was occuppied by union general james h. wilson in april 1865. it was here that wilson declared martial law over the city of mongomery. today the teague house is home to the alabama state chamber of commerce and is open to the public. the teague house is one of a number of historic homes in the perry street area just south of downtown montgomery.
