Travel Tips for Orange Beach

My encounter with Captain Crunch and the Alligator

Alligator Alley was really neat. My son loved this but it scared the crap out of me. I’m a bit squeamish around 13 foot long alligators named Captain Crunch! The park is actually safe and family friendly and even “scaredy cats” like me can have a great time! I found Alligator Alley by going to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach Web site. They have some other exciting things to do there like historic tours and the National Museum of Naval Aviation, me and my sons next stop! I won’t be as squeamish at during this tour!
