In warm weather and times of unseasonably warm weather. Pack comfortable light airy clothing to prevent chafing. Layer when possible. When traveling by boat you will be HOT when sitting still, but when in transit the wind will make you feel cold. Bug repellent and Sunscreen is a must in warm weather. Always pack an extra set of clothes, as you will never know when you will be thrown in the lake or decide to go for a swim. Always take cover and shelter when bad weather is approaching, you never know when a tornado or volitile winds might hit. Stay away from the water and open fields during lighting storms. If you hear a loud siren, seek shelter. It is the local emergency management team warning residents (first wednesday of every month expect sirens to be tested).
