More about Cedars of Williamsburg Bed & Breakfast

Loved Everything

by A TripAdvisor Member

We have just returned from a weekend at The cedars in Williamsburg, VA. We had a lovely time and thought everything was wonderful! Bob(owner) & Suzanee(staff) made us feel so welcome and really spoil there guests. We were greeted each morning with a "to die for breakfast" and great conversation. Just like having breakfast with friends on vacation! All the rooms were clean, comforatable and charming. The grounds were beautiful. One can really see how much love and time goes into the Inn. If you are in Williamsburg, this is the B&B to visit!

Cedars Bed & Breakfast

When we return to Williamsburg, we will certainly stay at the Cedars again. We recommend it to our friends as the very best place to stay in Williamsburg. First class across the board.

For A Perfect Getaway...

...stay at The Cedars B&B! My husband and I chose The Cedars as the setting of our one year anniversary getaway and were not disappointed. The staff was helpful and gracious throughout our stay. The room was well appointed and comfortable. After a long day touring the city, we were pleased to come home to a place where we could relax in our sitting room, or enjoy a snack in the sunny breakfast room. Breakfast was outstanding and included a variety of freshly baked goods like baked oatmeal pudding with brandied raisins, eggs florentine, muffins, and sausage. My husband (who had never before stayed in a B&B) is now a converter and is already looking into our next visit! When given the opportunity to stay at a place like The Cedars, why choose anything else? You will not be disappointed.

Loved this historical Bed & Breakfast

We had a family reunion in which the hosts owners made us feel like the place was our own home, bringing family members together. The location is within a nice walking distance to historical downtown Williamsburg, giving everyone an opportunity to explore the town at their own leisure time. The place was immaculate, and the breakfast menu was pleasing to the eyes as well as to the palate. Highly recommend the Cedars to anyone visiting Williamsburg.

Great Setting

by A TripAdvisor Member

The Cedars of Williamsburg is an exceptional B & B. The setting is attractive and very close to the historic town of Williamsburg. The owners are "hands on" and very friendly and open to their guests. We especially enjoyed the fun and warm conversations with Bob at breakfast. He was especially helpful in giving directions and information on the various places to go in the area. Such ambiance helped the many guests open up and enjoy exchanging pleasantries as well. We felt as if we had truly made friends while there. Our room was comfortable but the bathroom was a little smaller than usual. I noticed other rooms didn't have this problem though. I would recommend the Cedars to anyone visiting the Williamsburg area.

Excellent time with Bob and Grace at the Cedars of Williamsburg

by A TripAdvisor Member

18 members of our family recently stayed at the bed and breakfast, Cedars of Williamsburg. The facilities were very good, clean, with all the amneties of a hotel and the familiarity of home. The breakfasts were unique and enjoyed by kids from age 8 to 60 something. But what made this an excellent stay were our hosts, Bob and Grace. They were more than accomadating, always available, and always with a smile. They truly made this annual 'outing' memorable and one we wish to repeat!

So wirth the money to stay here

My wife and I had a very tough last 2 months leading up to our first wedding anniversary. We were really hoping this trip would be relaxing and fun for both of us and Cedar’s took care of that. We stayed in the Christopher Wren room. The room was very well decorated and very comfortable to stay in. I ordered the anniversary package and my wife loved it. If we travel to Williamsburg again I will make reservations at Cedar’s.

Colonial Getaway

by A TripAdvisor Member

Just returned from our weekend getaway to The Cedars B&B in Colonial Williamsburg. From the moment we pulled in the driveway I was surprised by the charm of the house and beautiful front lawn. The outside of the house was decorated with candles in each window, sprawling ivy on the grounds, stone walkway and a beautiful huge tree. Lots of character. I could not wait to see the inside! The inside was just as pleasing to the eye as the outside. Tastefully decorated and we were welcomed by a friendly innkeeper. Our suite, the George Washington, was gorgeous. Canopy bed, burgundy walls, portraits of old George, soft lighting and chocolates and rose petals sprinkled on our bed! The bathroom met all our needs (no tub) and was very clean. Our suite also had a charming sun parlor with a daybed and wingback chair with intimate lighting. There was also a little gas fireplace for cooler days. We really enjoyed this room, nice to have coffee, listen to the birds and great for reading. There are no televisions (except in breakfast room) here which gives you the opportunity to reconnect with your someone special. Breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room, with tables for two by candlelight. Each day the menu was different and was wonderful. Bob, the owner/innkeeper was there each morning and took pictures of his quests and shared in conversation. He is quite witty. The pictures are a nice momento and he also puts your pictures on the Cedars brochure. This was a great place to retreat to. The home is lovely, staff is wonderful and you can not go wrong with Colonial Williamsburg, there are so many activities there. We can't wait to go back!
