Bentley's is a 26-room combo hotel and B&B right on the riverfront. Breakfast is included and is always ample and delicious. There are rooms with and without private baths. There is a computer with internet access. Millie also has apartments to rent in the three smaller houses next to the main house. She is a interesting person to talk to and really knows the history of Bethel. The downstairs used to house a newspaper and Millie still writes an occasional Kitchen Korner column for the "Tundra Drums" community newspaper. You may check out a TripAdvisor review also.
I had one of the twin rooms with shared bath downstairs. It was $109 per day including tax and breakfast. There are three 3/4-baths and two 1/2-baths downstairs. I never had a problem with bathroom availability. I think one time two of the three 3/4-baths were being used; otherwise, it was one or usually none in use. The downstairs has its own sitting room with a large screen, satellite TV (each room has TV too) and regular kitchen. It was very quiet and nice down there.
The upstairs lobby is like an arts and crafts museum. Millie has traveled extensively and has quite a collection of Alaskan and other artifacts.
