the visitors center is a good place to start when taking a look over Kenai. I would then go to the beach, go bowling, visit to park (in the summer only, otherwise it is covered in 3-4 feet of snow), or even take a drive through the town. (usually doesn't take long as it isn't that large)Watching the local sports teams play their games against each other.(very competitive).
It is a small city, definitly a fishing city during the summer (tourist trap!!). Lots of snow in the winter. Paved roads,(NO IGLOOS!), Nice people, many stories about city that are worth finding people to tell them.
