Quonset Hut: In a pinch......
If for some crazy reason you were ever stuck on Long Island you would be able to find shelter in the form of an abandoned Quonset Hut. There aren't any beds but most have floors and you would be out of the weather.

Green Moss Inn.......or make up your own name: Bring a tent............Enjoy the great outdoors!!
There aren't any facilities on Long Island but you can easily camp anywhere without being bothered. If it rains too much you could always set up your tent inside one of the quonset huts. Sleeping on the Lush, thick moss would be as comfortable as any Sealy sertapedic mattress!! Be prepared for rain at anytime though!! Or if you go from October -April be prepared for possible freezing weather and have the correct equipment for these conditions!!
The land is Privately owned by Lesnoi Native Association....but I didn't notice any "No Trespassing" signs. I didn't stay overnight but I wouldn't mind make an overnight trip sometime.
